Volunteers are the life blood of our organization serving as Audiovision on-air narrators, office support staff, and technicians.
On-air narrators read newspapers and special interest programs. An individual can volunteer as a reader for as little as one hour per session. Most volunteer weekly, but we need and welcome people willing to be substitute readers on an as-needed basis.
Volunteers who want to provide clerical assistance can do tasks such as clipping newspapers, putting together public education packets, processing books for the library, or rewinding tapes.
Technicians assist the Audiovision engineer or library staff with electronic equipment testing and repair.
